Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies

SAROI held both virtually and in-person at the Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies (CAST) at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. The first (of two) in-person workshops for the 2022-2023 SAROI cohort will tentatively take place June 5-18, 2022. A second, one-week workshop (also required) will take place in Summer 2023.

Single-occupancy, on-campus housing will be provided for the Fellows throughout their stay at the University of Arkansas. Workshop lectures, mentor meetings, and workspace will all take place in the JB Hunt (JBHT) building on the University of Arkansas campus, where CAST is located. The proximity of the housing to JBHT (< 10 minutes) will make transportation without a car possible. Meal passes for the University’s various dining halls and services will be provided to cover breakfast and lunch throughout each Fellow’s stay.
